How to be perfect?

“Marcela, do you ever have a bad day, where you just want to stay in bed the whole day, cry and eat ice cream? When you want to wear your fat pants because you feel bloated? With no makeup and oily hair? When you just don’t want to give a damn about anything? When nothing is ‘perfect’?

Yes, I do! 

How to be perfect?

BUT…. 

I accept myself as I am, with all my flaws and imperfections – I love my uneven, crooked teeth!

I feel good in my own skin. – Even my cellulite aka butt dimples!

I know my worth. – Priceless!

I’m not looking to be perfect. – NOBODY IS PERFECT! Perfect is boooooring!

I don’t have that delusion that I’m perfect or anyone else is perfect despite what social media is showing the world. – You can’t fool me, Instagram!

BUT…

What gets me out of bed on those bad days, is my passion to help and serve those who struggle with weight and vitality loss.

I believe I can make a difference because I spent the past twenty years studying and interviewing many fitness, health, and wellness professionals. I observed my family and my own life. 

What have I learned?

I know what works and what does not.

I know the ‘shortcuts’.

I know how you can motivate yourself.

I know how you can keep the momentum.

I know the obstacles and challenges you are facing and how to conquer them.

I know how you get a strong body and mind.

I know how you can create a sustainable, joyful and vital lifestyle.

I know that without a strong mindset, you will NOT achieve your goals.

My clients do not buy supplements they don’t need.

Be perfectly imperfect, be human

I believe that we can eat everything we want, drink a glass of wine or whiskey, eat french fries and cakes – while staying healthy, lean, vital and fit! 

I believe that we can live a happy and content life.

I believe that we can overcome any challenges life throws at us. 

There is a BUT…. 

But we need to learn about how to implement simple habits into our lives and shift our beliefs for lasting results.

‘I have to be perfect’ syndrome

That’s what we are being conditioned for. People always try to be perfect

I have to admit, I did as well. That’s why I was hesitant to act on my business ideas before or speak up for myself. If it wasn’t’ A+, I didn’t even try. 

Not anymore! 

I go for B- 

When you strive to be perfect, you don’t start anything. 

Because if you’re trying to be perfect, you know you can’t be. You will never be good enough, nothing will ever be good enough. So you give up.

So what you really condition yourself for, is a standard you can never achieve. 

“Perfection is the lowest standard anyone can have – it leaves no room for growth.”

BOTTOM LINE:

You want to stand out of the crowd, be different, not perfect.

You want to have a balanced life, not perfect.

You want to be an example of a human being, not a perfect creature that doesn’t exist in real life.
